As getaways go, downtown San Jose was a fun visit. Eminently walkable, sun-drenched streets with murals at every turn.
The San Jose Downtown Foundation spurs artists each year to reimagine outdoor things–doors, utility boxes, walls–in color, and color they do. Elsewhere, local shopkeepers festoon planters with colorful flowers. What’s not to love?
