“if you have your health, you have everything”

On the occasion of my 48th birthday, I have much to be grateful for. I live in the Deep South where the weather is hot and sunny. I have a house in Belhaven that I like quite a bit. I finished one of the flower beds. (It only took me six weekends, but who’s counting, other than me.) My neighbors are kind hearted. I have a job that allows me to have quality health insurance, and I have access to great doctors in Jackson. I also have this blog, which has been fun to maintain. (I swear I’m gonna run out of things to say, I swear.)

My Swedish American grandfather often commented to me, “If you have your health, you have everything.”

And I guess I couldn’t agree more. Wishing all good things and the best of health to readers near and far. Cheers from Jackson, Mississippi.
